L0v3: Il 2° giorno del viaggio a Roma abbiamo fatto un tour in bicicletta con un'ottima guida. È stata la migliore visita guidata del viaggio. Era un modo perfetto per vedere la città e imparare. È stato così bello che abbiamo noleggiato le biciclette un paio di giorni dopo. Le bici sono davvero buone, il servizio è di prim'ordine e anche il prezzo è davvero buono. Infine lo consiglierei sicuramente!
Brian Wells: Un emozionante tour storico in ebike è un'escursione da non perdere a Roma. La maggior parte del tour di 6 ore è fuori città lungo la via appia attraverso parchi e strade fuori dai sentieri battuti per visitare le rovine. Grandi cose!!
Alison Taylor: è stata bravissima, e ci siamo divertiti a sfrecciare senza troppa fatica sui vari sentieri, alcuni dei quali molto sconnessi o che sfiorano i cespugli ai lati. Il percorso passa accanto alle catacombe, alla via Appia e agli antichi acquedotti, oltre che attraverso la città e lungo i sentieri panoramici del parco. Molto utile avere una guida che condivida fatti sulle cose che abbiamo passato lungo la strada. Ti danno una bottiglia d'acqua e ci sono posti dove ricaricare lungo il sentiero.
Stuart Holmes: Che esperienza! Il mio amico mi ha consigliato TopBike quando gli ho detto che saremmo venuti in Italia. Ha detto che la sua famiglia ha detto che è stata la cosa migliore che hanno fatto. Ho avuto un po' di trepidazione prima della corsa, sarebbe questo il miglior uso del nostro tempo? Quanto sarebbe difficile percorrere 18 miglia? Soprattutto, è sicuro per le mie due figlie per le strade di Roma? Ho incontrato la nostra guida Klauss e mi ha subito messo a mio agio. Bonus, ci hanno fatto seguire da Felipe tutto il giorno per assicurarci che avessimo la precedenza sui pochi incroci stradali. Klauss è davvero una delizia e conosce la sua storia, molto appassionato, gentile e ha fatto volare il viaggio, poco più di 6 ore. I miei figli hanno detto che è stata una delle cose migliori che abbiamo mai fatto in vacanza.. Abbiamo imparato un sacco e lo faremo di nuovo. Per quanto riguarda la fisicità, hanno nuove ebike Canondale, che hanno reso la salita un gioco da ragazzi. Tour through the most spectacular monuments of Rome, with electric bikes. Half day well spent and unique. I highly recommend this experience, you won't be disappointed!

Ninna Bella Roco: but let the kids have fun going fast when they could. All sights were explained well with plenty of time to enjoy & take pictures.Bikes, helmets, and handlebar bags were all well maintained and not one person in our group or the other group we saw had any issues. E-bikes were helpful on the bumpier uneven and steeper segments.The route was incredible and you see so much! Churches of significance or beauty, catacombs, aqueducts, local parks, villas and farms in what feels like the country as well as neighborhoods.We had a lovely pizza/gelato stop and caught the sunset as well as dusk at the Colosseum on the way back. The time flew and the 30 km/19 mi was a great way to see a side of Rome not often seen. Couldn't recommend TopBike Rental enough for this tour.

Abbiamo prenotato il tour Bikes and Bites con Bikeology Roma per il nostro primo pomeriggio a Roma, e questa è stata la migliore esperienza di tutto il nostro soggiorno!La nostra guida - Alessandro è stato gentile, disponibile, ben informato, ha un buon inglese ed è davvero un bravo ragazzo! Ci hanno dato tutto ciò di cui avevamo bisogno per un viaggio di successo: rotte pianificate, serrature, caschi e una soluzione piatta.Siamo stati in grado di vedere così tanto della città e andare in giro non sembrava così scoraggiante, specialmente con un bambino di 5 anni. È stato molto divertente e pedalare di sera è così bello!Non ci sono molte piste ciclabili a Roma, è d'obbligo essere a proprio agio a pedalare su strada con traffico.Grazie Bikeology per un'esperienza meravigliosa. Daniel Kultran: Alexandros è il proprietario di questo posto. Lui è molto carino. Tutte le bici erano in condizioni eccellenti e nuove. Abbiamo noleggiato 4 e-bike per percorrere la via appia da soli. All'inizio avrei utilizzato le mappe di Google, ma Alexandro mi ha consigliato un'app con mappa e itinerario precaricati chiamata "komoot". Questo percorso sull'app è stato fantastico. Gran parte del percorso è stato in sella al Tevere che i nostri bambini adoravano. Se hai bambini di età pari o inferiore a 10 anni, forse pedalare per le strade di Roma può essere un po' pericoloso. I nostri figli hanno 13 e 15 anni. Nel complesso, questo è stato un modo fantastico per vivere Roma e le sue parti periferiche.
Charles Watson: Abbiamo fatto un tour privato in e-bike con questi ragazzi ieri sera in giro per Roma ed è stato fantastico. Christiano era un super leader e ci ha portato in cinque o sei punti elevati per ammirare la città. Il tour è stato fantastico e davvero divertente. È stato molto sorprendente quanto lontano puoi andare e in quante diverse condizioni di traffico puoi guidare. Eravamo per lo più su strade secondarie tranquille, ma ci sono state 2 o 3 volte in cui ci siamo trovati proprio nel mezzo di una strada super trafficata e rotonde e il traffico era follemente accomodante e sembrava un po' spaventoso, ma era sicuro. Le e-bike erano di ottima qualità e avevano ottimi componenti, quindi ti sentivi competente e al sicuro. Consigliamo vivamente questi ragazzi.

Lori Keating: Alessandro e il suo caratteristico negozio di biciclette sono nascosti in un vicolo segreto che è in qualche modo un libro di fiabe, come ha spiegato la sua ricerca di 6 mesi per trovare il luogo perfetto. Le biciclette erano abbastanza robuste da tamponare la maggior parte delle strade di ciottoli più quelle lungo l'Appia Antica e abbastanza chic, con cestini e borse laterali, da farci sembrare gente del posto. Bravo, Alessandro, per la meravigliosa esperienza di lavorare in giro per Roma, una città fantastica.
J.D. Ramage: Noleggio bici perfetto per i principianti a Roma. Ne ho noleggiato uno per 2 giorni e ho utilizzato molti dei suggerimenti di Matteo e dei percorsi che mappano utilizzando l'app Kamoot. Utile, amichevole, super divertente.
Taryn: per noi il giorno successivo. Abbiamo completato un tour della città di tre ore. È stato un modo favoloso per vedere la città e tutti i principali punti di riferimento. I bambini di 16, 14 e 10 anni l'hanno adorato! Soprattutto il bambino di 10 anni preferiva di gran lunga questo tipo di tour ai musei. Alessandro è stato in grado di portarci attraverso molte stradine che normalmente non avremmo visto. Erano così amichevoli ed erano felici di iniziare il tour molto presto
Sydney Lehmann: Un servizio clienti e attrezzature così straordinari! Bikeology è stata in grado di fornire al mio gruppo bici elettriche, lucchetti vari, borse, porta telefono e suggerimenti per visite turistiche e ristoranti nei dintorni di Roma. Siamo stati in grado di girare per tutta la città e sopravvivere al caldo di luglio! Vorremmo usare le biciclette elettriche in ogni città d'Europa, in quanto ha reso il trasporto molto più semplice. Non posso raccomandare abbastanza questa attività.
Anto Bertello: Ho affitato una bicicleta per un giorno, Matteo è molto atento, simpatico, non è solo un locale dove affiterai una bicicleta, il servizio è più di quello, perche ti consigliano dove mangiare, dove fermarti a bere un drink, ed anche Matteo è stato flessibile con il orario di ritorno.Davero una esperienza molto carina.La bicicleta era in ottimo stato, ho fatto una bella passegiata.
Alexander Beattie: è venuto e ci ha aiutato a farlo funzionare. La nostra guida Alessandro è stata eccellente. Ci ha chiesto quali luoghi avevamo visto e ci ha aiutato a vederne alcuni che non avevamo ancora visto, oltre a un paio che abbiamo dimenticato di inserire nell'elenco. I bambini si sono davvero divertiti anche se il caldo era terribilmente caldo. Anche chi odia le bici si è divertito! Abbiamo pedalato lungo il fiume e abbiamo visto panorami mozzafiato da Villa Borghese mentre visitavamo anche luoghi chiave come la Fontana di Trevi, il Colosseo, il Pantheon, Pizza Navona ecc. Ci siamo persino fermati per un gelato al Circo Massimo! Alla fine eravamo tutti d'accordo sul fatto che fosse fantastico nonostante fosse molto caldo e stanco. Abbiamo dovuto ricordare alla nostra guida Alessandro
Cody LeClaire: Consiglio vivamente di utilizzare queste bici per una gita di un giorno. Sono così convenienti, comodi e divertenti. Abbiamo trascorso l'intera giornata fermandoci in diversi siti lungo la strada da e per il parco nazionale degli acquedotti. Fuori c'erano 90 gradi e abbiamo appena sudato!

Rob Huntley: OUTSTANDING!! We booked the Bikes and Bites tour with Bikeology Roma for our first afternoon in Rome, and this was the best experience of our whole stay!Our guide - Alessandro was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, has good English and is a really nice guy! He also provided many local recommendations for our stay in Rome which was quite handy.The tour - Bikes and Bites was a great mix of exploring Rome and tasting the best local Rome food and at the best places - we even returned to several of these places over the next few days. The tour stopped at many locations and sometimes we locked up the bikes so we could walk around and take photos. Around every corner was another street worthy of a postcard picture, as well as open piazzas, churches and historical sites.The bikes - we were impressed with the quality of the e-bikes provided which meant we could effortlessly ride over 10km through Rome and were not tired at the end.The experience- we were two families from Australia, six people in total including two 18y.o. girls and the tour was very safe and well within everyone’s abilities. We all enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend Bikeology Roma.
Jennifer Wolfe: Cristiano gave us a wonderful bike tour of Rome. He suggested we upgrade to the e-bikes, and we were glad we did! We got to see some lovely sights outside of the city as well. It was my favorite activity in Rome. Cris and Matteo were very gracious and friendly. Do not hesitate to try a ride with them!

Joshua Cruz: . You request a child seat in the notes section of the rental site. Our bikes were in good shape and very chic. They gave us everything we needed for a successful voyage: Planned routes, locks, helmets and a flat fix.We were able to see so much of the city and getting around didn’t seem so daunting, esp with a 5yr old. It was very fun and riding in the evening is so beautiful!There are not a lot of bike lanes in Rome, it’s a must to be comfortable riding on the street with traffic.Thank you Bikeology for a wonderful experience. Daniel Kultran: Alexandros is the owner of this place. He is very nice. All the bikes were in excellent and new condition. We rented 4 e-bikes to tour appian way on our own. At first, I was going to use Google maps but Alexandro recommended an app with preloaded map and itinerary called "komoot". This route on the app was great. Much of the way was riding along with Tiber which our kids loved. If you have younger kids 10 or below, maybe riding in the streets of Rome can be a bit dangerous. Our kids are 13 and 15 yrs old. Overall, this was an amazing way to experience Rome and its outparts.
Charles Watson: We did a private e-bike tour with these guys last night around Rome and it was great. Christiano was a super leader and he took us to five or six elevated spots for views across the city. The tour was great and really fun. It was very surprising how far you can go and how many different traffic conditions you can ride in. We were mostly on quiet side streets, but there were 2 or 3 times where we were right in the middle of a super busy street and round abouts and the traffic was insanely accomodating and it felt a bit scary, but it was safe. The e-bikes were super good quality and they had great components so you felt competant and safe. We totally reccomend these guys.

Lori Keating: Alessandro and his quaint bike shoppe are hidden down a secret alleyway that is somewhat storybook, as he explained his 6 month quest to find the perfect location. The biciclettas were sturdy enough to buffer most of the cobblestone streets plus those along the Appia Antica and chic enough, with baskets and panniers, to make us look like locals. Bravo, Alessandro, for the wonderful experience of tooling around Roma, a fantastic city.
J.D. Ramage: Perfect bike rental for first timers in Rome. I rented one for 2 days and used many of the suggestions from Matteo and the routes they map using the Kamoot app. Helpful, friendly, super fun.
Taryn: for us the next day. We completed a three hour city tour. It was a fabulous way to see the city and all of the major landmarks. The kids 16, 14 & 10 loved it! The 10 year old especially much preferred this type of tour to the museums. Alessandro was able to take us through many little streets we would not have normally seen. They were so friendly and were happy to start the tour very early
Sydney Lehmann: Such amazing customer service and equipment! Bikeology was able to supply my group with electric bikes, various locks, bags, phone holders and suggestions for sight seeing and restaurants around Rome. We were able to ride around the whole city, and survive in the July heat! We wish we used electric bikes in every city in Europe, as it made the transportation much easier. Can’t recommend this business enough.
Alexander Beattie: came in and helped us out to make it work. Our guide Alessandro was excellent. He asked us what sights we had seen and helped us see some we hadn’t seen yet, plus a couple we forgot to put on the list. The kids really enjoyed it even thought the heat was horribly hot. Even the one who hates bikes enjoyed it! We rode along the river and got to see amazing views from Villa Borghese while also visiting key sights like the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Pantheon, Pizza Navona etc. We even stopped for gelato at the Circo Massimo! By the end we all agreed it was amazing despite being very hot and tired. We did have to remind our guide Alessandro
Cody LeClaire: Definitely recommend using these bikes for a day trip. They are so convenient, comfortable, and enjoyable. We spent the whole day stopping at different sites along the way to and from the aqueducts national park. It was 90 degrees outside and we barely broke a sweat!
Jacks Instinct: Our family of four rented bikes and rode out to the Appian Way. Bikes were in excellent condition and included helmets, locks etc. Also received training and access to the most amazing app that helped us navigate our ride. We had an amazing experience - very friendly service. Highly recommend for a great outing.

JZ.: L'itinerario notturno di Roma era ok ma le bici erano vecchie, cigolanti, traballanti e rumorose. Peggio ancora, durante un ciclo notturno su 8 bici solo una aveva le luci. Ora immagina di pedalare per vicoli bui o strade trafficate alle 22:00 senza luci. Facile da vedere su una serie di foto qui. Quando avrò un secondo, caricherò alcune foto aggiuntive. E la direzione che cerca di minacciarmi la dice lunga.

JZ.: The night Rome itinerary was ok but the bikes were old, squeaky, wobbly, and rattly. Worst of all, during a late night cycle out of 8 bikes only one had lights. Now imagine cycling around dark alleys or busy streets at 10 pm without any lights. Easy to see on a number of photos here. When I have a second, Ill upload some additional photos. And the management trying to threaten me speaks volumes.

Erin Kennedy: Biciclette consumate, si sono perse, ma bei panoramiLa batteria è caduta da una delle bici dopo 20 minuti di viaggio: abbiamo dovuto ricollegarla con un cavo di ricarica del telefono.La mappa del sentiero non è stata utile perché nessuna strada era segnata e non c'erano segni sul sentiero stesso. Ci siamo persi e alla fine abbiamo dovuto voltarci e tornare indietro.Ma il sentiero stesso ha delle belle viste.
Sven Faasen: Un tour in bici davvero bello con una guida eccellente. Le bici sono davvero comode e lo scenario è semplicemente sbalorditivo. La nostra guida ci ha pensato molto agli acquedotti, alle vecchie strade latine e alla via appia. Molte informazioni su tutte le vecchie storie su tutti gli edifici lungo la strada. È stato anche così gentile da offrirci un espresso lungo la strada e ci ha mostrato molti posti meravigliosi dove cenare.Consiglierei al 100% di fare questo tour se visiti Roma. Non solo per vedere la via appia ma anche per la guida simpatica e professionale e per il fatto che è un tour privato, non in grandi gruppi.P.S. Non aggiungendo immagini, devi vederlo per crederci.

Erin Kennedy: Worn out bikes, got lost, but good viewsThe battery fell off one of the bikes 20 minutes into the ride- we had to tie it back on with a phone charging cable.The trail map was not helpful because no roads were marked and there were no signs on the trail itself. We got lost and eventually just had to turn around and go back.But the trail itself has nice views.

Our guide thought us a lot about the aquaducts, the old latin roads and the via appia. A lot of information about all the old stories about all the buildings along the way. He even was so kind so offer us espresso along the way and showed us a lot of wonderfull places to have dinner.I would 100% recommend doing this tour if you visit rome. Not only to see the via appia but also because of the nice and professional guide and the fact that it’s a private tour, not in big groups.P.S. Not adding pictures, you have to see it to believe it.

Kristy Morganti: We had the best evening in Rome on our e-bike tour. Our guide was incredible - So enthusiastic to share about Rome. He also checked in with our group often to ensure everyone was doing well. We saw so many of the major sites, had photo opportunities and enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the Jewish Ghetto. This tour was my kids favorite activity during our 3 days in Rome. I highly recommend this tour and know it will feature a Badge of Excellence in the very near future!

Valerie Shatto: . One tour operator did at least give me a call and was very apologetic. He tried to reschedule but nothing worked with my already full itinerary. The second one that cancelled noone called I just received an email like I had cancelled it?? So a lot of calling and making sure I wouldn’t be charged. It was a nightmare dealing with all of this as I’m arriving into Rome. Never again and do not recommend.

L ox: Guida: Caterina.Stupendo giro della Via Appia in bicicletta. Tour in bici elettrica davvero super bello con un'ottima guida con informazioni molto interessanti. Non abbiamo attraversato il circo massimo o il Colosseo come indicato. Ma non era affatto fastidioso. Nonostante il traffico italiano, siamo passati attraverso un magnifico parco, la via Appia, le terme di Caracala o anche 2 o 3 chiese secondarie di cui ho dimenticato i nomi ma con simpatici aneddoti.Raccomando con gli occhi chiusi se il tempo è bello. Abbiamo fatto il tour alle 9:30.
Kari Harris: Tre di noi hanno fatto un bel giro dell'Appia Antica in e-bike. Il tour è stato divertente per tutti nel nostro gruppo - di età compresa tra 18 e 70 anni! La guida era molto ben informata e cordiale. Ha dato buone indicazioni per tenerci al sicuro sulle strade trafficate, ma gran parte del tour è stato su strade con poco traffico. Porta una bottiglia d'acqua e un piccolo pacchetto per trasportarli. Non sono stati forniti né acqua né portabottiglie. Abbiamo fatto il tour delle 9:00 e temevamo che sarebbe stato troppo caldo, ma gran parte del viaggio era all'ombra. Faceva caldo, ma tollerabile. Abbiamo adorato il nostro viaggio!
Heather Gottlieb: Il personale di Elebike è stato eccezionalmente gentile e disponibile e ci ha aiutato a trovare box per biciclette alla fine del nostro tour in bicicletta. Li consiglierei a chiunque voglia noleggiare una bicicletta o fare un giro per Roma senza prenotazione. Grazie ancora Elebike!

ptr1967: Le bici erano perfette! Era davvero un bel posto. Sono rimasto molto sorpreso dalla capacità delle biciclette. Mia madre a 70 anni andava in bicicletta sulle colline più ripide di Roma. servizio super cordiale.
Susy Piovesana: è un modo diverso e molto divertente di visitare Roma, apprezzandone la parte storica, culturale, artistica ma anche naturalistica. E anche un po' il traffico! Ottima la guida e bici molto comode. Assolutamente da provare!

In qualche modo la loro guida folle funziona per loro e dal momento che sono abituati a stare attenti a scooter e pedoni, mi ha reso più sicuro di guidare accanto a loro. Può essere un po' sconnesso

L ox: Guide: Catherine.Superb tour of the Via Appia by bike. Really super nice electric bike tour with a great guide with very interesting information. We did not go through the circus maximus or the coliseum as indicated. But it wasn't bothersome at all. Despite the Italian traffic, we passed through a magnificent park, the Via Appia, the Caracala thermal baths or even 2 or 3 secondary churches whose names I forgot but with nice anecdotes.I recommend with your eyes closed if the weather is nice. We took the tour at 9:30.
Kari Harris: Three of us took a lovely tour of the Appian Way on e-bikes. The tour was fun for everyone in our group--with ages ranging 18-70! The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She gave good directions to keep us safe on the busy roads, but much of the tour was on roads with little traffic. Bring an water bottle and small pack to carry them. Neither water or bottle holders were provided. We took the 9am tour and worried that it would be too hot, but much of the ride was in the shade. It was hot, but tolerable. We loved our ride!

Jill Marie: . I actually felt more comfortable riding around Rome than riding a normal bike around other cities. Somehow their crazy driving works for them and since they are use to watching out for scooters and pedestrians, it made me more confident riding next to them. It can be a bit bumpy
